(More customer reviews)This is an official release of three episodes from the -second- time Kimba was brought to the TV screen. Some say this is the last project that Kimba's creator, Osamu Tezuka, worked on. It is different, a re-working of the old story, and takes some getting used to for us old fans. In some ways the presentation is disappointing; it feels like the series was altered for a modern Saturday Morning TV audience. The new story arc is interesting, tho, and I consider the series worth seeing. I'll be buying every tape they release.
